Mrs. Corbin has been in education for over 20 years. Before becoming a Principal, she served as an Assistant Principal at DeSoto Central Middle School for four years. Preceding that, she was the Middle School Mathematics Specialist for the district for 8 years. Her teaching experience includes kindergarten, 5th grade, 7th, grade, 8th grade, and high school mathematics courses.

Mrs. Corbin believes in open communication between home and school and being a lifelong learner. She received her undergraduate from Delta State University. She then went on to receive National Board certification for secondary mathematics in 2008. Her next venture was to obtain a degree in educational leadership which she received from the University of Mississippi.

Mrs. Corbin and her husband have a daughter, Peyton, who recently graduated from Hernando High School and attends Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. As a family, they enjoy traveling, camping, and staying active. Mrs. Corbin is the Youth Director for her church, Cross Pointe Church in Olive Branch where she works with grades 7-12. She is looking forward to serving the students, parents, and staff at Lewisburg Intermediate School!

Beth Gardner, Asst. Principal

Being educated in Desoto County Schools as a student, I am honored to be charged with the adventure to serve as the Assistant Principal of Lewisburg Intermediate School!

After graduating from Horn Lake High School (2001), I continued my educational journey by receiving an Undergraduate's Degree from the University of Mississippi (2005), then a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education (2009), National Board’s Certification in Middle Childhood Education (2012), and then on to a Specialist Degree from Arkansas State University in Educational Leadership (2020).

Over the many years that I have taught, I was privileged to be an assistant for 1st grade, then teach 4th grade at DeSoto Central Elementary for three years before moving on to Southaven Intermediate School.  I was honored to teach 4th and 5th grade for another four years before I moved into a Gifted education position.  I was given the opportunity to reach Gifted students for seven years before I was graced with the role I have been led to today. Being in Gifted education allowed me the flexibility to develop skills as an educational leader, while learning from outstanding leaders in DeSoto County's educational community.

My husband, Jonathan, and I are honored to serve in various ways throughout DeSoto County, and now more specifically, the Lewisburg community. We have two children, Kaden and Ava, and they are also educated in Desoto County Schools with deep rooted servants' hearts as well.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance to you or your family, as my goal is to serve our community.
